♠ BL (ボーイズ・ラブ): The abbreviation for boy's love, it refers to the genre where the main characters engage in a homosexual relationship.

♠ CV: This is the abbreviation for Cover Voice or the seiyuu.

♠ Fuujoushi (腐女子/ふじょし): Literally, this means ROTTEN GIRLS (laugh). In reality, it refers to girls who love Boy's Love or pairing boys together in normal anime, a.k.a. the majority of us here!
♠ Fuudanshi (腐男子/ふだんし): Literally, this means ROTTEN BOYS! In reality, these are BOYS who love Boy's Love as well! Mind you THEY EXIST!!!

♠ H (エッチ): This is the abbreviation for Ecchi or something erotic.
♠ Hage (禿げ): Bald
♠ Hen no Kanji (変の感じ/へんのかんじ): This means it feels strange. The uke often says/thinks so especially when it is the first time he is being penetrated.
♠ Hentai (変態/へんたい): This means crazy or erotic people.
♠ Hetare (へたれ): This means a seme who is not very skillful. This does not mean he does not know how to H. It's more like the seme loses some of the control power to the uke.
♠ Hige (髭/ひげ): Beard
♠ Homo (不毛/ふも): Of course Homo is the abbreviation of homosexual. However, sometimes if you see the kanji 不毛 (which should be pronounced as fumou and meaning barren or not able to have children), it is also read as homo.

♠ Keiro (毛色/けいろ): Haircolor
♠ Karami (絡み/からみ): Normally, it means conversation or interchange. However, in boy's love, this sometimes also mean the bed scene.
♠ Kichiku (鬼畜/きちく): This refers to a heartless person who does not have empathy, like a ghost (鬼/おに) or a beast(畜生/ちくしょう).

♠ Seme (攻め/せめ): Normally, it just refers to attack. However, in boy's love, this refers to the man who is "on top" in a homosexual relationship.
♠ Shota (ショウタ): This refers to relationships between an adult and a VERY YOUNG BOY.
